Norte is grateful to Atlantico for the opportunity to contribute to their 6th Annual Latin America Digital Transformation Report, a comprehensive analysis that has become essential reading for understanding the region's tech and venture landscape.

We partnered with Atlantico to map the alumni-founded startup ecosystem emerging from Latin America's most notable tech firms. This research revealed a powerful "tech mafia" effect, in which founders with unicorn pedigrees have launched 131 new companies that raise significantly more capital than their peers—six times more at the seed stage and three times more at Series A.

The analysis demonstrates how successful companies create ripple effects throughout the region's ecosystem, with experienced operators leveraging their networks and credibility to build the next generation of Latin American tech leaders. The broader report explores critical themes, including the region's exceptional capital efficiency, AI adoption trends, and the hundreds of billions in value creation opportunity ahead.
